Varsity Towers offers residents a wide variety of opportunities to participate in social activities.

The complex includes an impressive entertainment room complete with large screen TV, pool table and juke box. Periodically, social evenings are held here, giving everyone a chance to meet new owners and get caught up with old friends.

The Bridge Club meets in the library as does the Friday Morning Coffee Club, both ARE well attended fun groups. Aquafit enthusiasts show up at the pool for their informal early morning exercise group while those who prefer tread mills and weights, meet at the adjoining fitness room.
Gardeners are busy from March until October tending to their plots in the huge greenhouse in the south courtyard. Their yield is astonishing and they, tongue in cheek, suggest the possibility of an in-house Farmers Market.

Tee times have been arranged by meeting fellow golfers at the always green, putting green located in the south courtyard.

There are barbeques and patios in the beautiful courtyards and on the roof terraces of each tower. During good weather, lots of informal, spontaneous dinner parties take place, as do chats over coffee or tea during the day.

Social activities at Varsity Towers are plentiful. There are regular wine and cheese parties. In the summer a barbecue is organized. There is also the much sought after chicken dinner and there are celebrations Christmas time.
